Job description

The role is exciting and fast-paced and involves working closely with the Senior Marketing Executive and Head of Marketing as well as their Designer to help execute their omni-channel marketing plan and budget., * Supporting the execution of their omni-channel marketing activity in line with the brand strategy and budget

  • Manage day-to-day website content, including regular homepage updates, content refreshes, product uploads and news posts - they use WordPress as their CMS
  • Liaising with their website agency to optimise activity and attend meetings with the agency
  • Create, schedule and report on social media content across all brand channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X
  • Able to plan and execute social content to grow engagement and followers
  • Assist in planning, organising and attending company events and exhibitions (UK and international), including all the organising, documentation, packing for the event, helping to set up at the event and be on the stand on the day, etc
  • Produce and update sales and marketing materials, e.g. line sheets, brochures, presentations and price lists - working with InDesign and PhotoShop daily
  • Assist with in-house photography and video shoots, overseeing the process of post-production and some pre-production
  • Organise and co-ordinate all image retouching activity
  • Contribute to copywriting and proofreading across channels, ensuring appropriate and engaging use of brand voices - more focussed on short copy writing such as product copy/captions
  • Manage quotation and production processes with printers for their marketing collateral
  • Track competitor activity and market trends

Requirements

Are you a creatively driven, digital-first Marketing Executive with commercial experience and good content creation ability? This multi award-winning business is looking for a bright and curious Junior Marketing Content Executive, working within their marketing and brand/content team where you will help to innovate and elevate their marketing offering across digital, social, event, content creation and sales. The salary for this role is c.£27-32k and is office based 5 days a week in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire with flexibility on start and finish times and a great package with generous holiday allowance and free parking onsite., * You have 1-4 years' experience as either a Junior Marketing Executive or Marketing and Content Executive, ideally with B2B experience (although B2C experience will be considered if within luxury, fashion or lifestyle brands)

  • You are creatively driven in your approach and have worked across the full marketing mix, but with a good amount of experience within social media and also content creation and production
  • You enjoy being hands-on and a good support to the team, but also able to work on your own steam on projects and able to work at pace and are a good problem solver
  • You are able to work and communicate directly with their stakeholders / clients as well as being able to be involved in meetings with the agency or stakeholders, sometimes without senior members of the marketing team

What experience / skills do you need for the role:

  • Marketing degree or other relevant qualifications
  • Relevant marketing experience, preferably for a high-profile consumer brand
  • Confident user of digital content management systems and platforms from websites to social platforms such as; LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, etc
  • Use of Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and InDesign are ESSENTIAL in this role
  • Outstanding communications skills - emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence
  • Detail orientated with a good photographic eye
  • Motivated, curious and poised. Comfortable working with staff across all levels of the organisation and can demonstrate a passion to use unconventional ideas to achieve extraordinary results
  • Highly organised, a solution provider with an ability to work to deadlines
  • You can work well autonomously and as part of a team
  • It is very beneficial to the role to have a strong affinity/experience with fashion, luxury and lifestyle markets.
