Job description

As a Professional Services Consultant, you will design, develop, and implement reporting solutions while leading the integration of customer systems with the organisation's core software products. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and support customers throughout implementation and optimisation.

This position is hybrid, offering 4 days home working and 1 day onsite in either Sheffield, Warrington, or Luton (post-induction). Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.

You'll be joining a growing team with opportunities for progression as customer demand continues to increase., * Reporting Solutions: Create and deliver reporting solutions using platforms such as SQL, Power BI, Qlik, and other BI/analytics tools.

  • System Integration: Lead the integration of customer business systems with internal products, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility. (Experience with RESTful API integration is essential.)

  • Implementation: Ensure smooth deployment and customer adoption of reporting and integration solutions.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for reporting and integration components.

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams, technical specialists, and external partners.

  • Documentation: Produce detailed documentation for reporting structures, integrations, system architectures, and solution designs.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing and optimising customer solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with API and system integrations, including RESTful API usage and middleware platforms.
  • Proficiency with reporting and BI tools (SQL, Power BI, Qlik, Excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of web services and underlying protocols.
  • Knowledge of API security best practices (secure transmission, encryption, input validation, threat mitigation).
  • Strong analytical mindset and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Customer-focused approach and ability to manage requirements effectively.
  • Effective collaborator within high-paced project environments.
