Job description
Work within a multi-disciplinary design team to test new and updated products, including application software, embedded software, and associated hardware.
Requirements
We are looking for a System Test Engineer based near Hampshire to join a specialist engineering company developing advanced products used globally to support a safer future. You are ideally a driven, detail-focused professional to help ensure the quality and reliability of our software, embedded systems, and hardware., Experience: 3+ years in a professional testing role, ideally within an engineering company handling embedded systems and hardware
Technical skills:
Strong experience in software testing; familiarity with embedded systems is highly advantageous.
Ability to write concise test procedures, user documentation, and detailed failure reports.
Experience with issue-tracking tools is helpful.
Confident with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
Additional requirements:
Qualifications demonstrating strong competency in maths and English (GCSEs, A-Levels, HNC, or ideally a higher education qualification in engineering/IT).
Eligible for UK MoD security clearance.
Clean driving licence advantageous.
