Requirements
- TOGAF
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Experience in Global retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing sectors
If you want your architectural decisions to have real-world impact at global scale, and you're excited by a business genuinely investing in its digital future, let's talk.
About the company
Picture this: 3,000 operating units, 625 locations, 38 countries. Airports, train stations, motorway services. A household name in travel F&B serving millions of customers every single day. A business turning over £3.5bn - and right now, in the midst of something big.
A new CIO joined in July and immediately launched an ambitious transformation agenda: S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, global POS upgrades, and a complete modernisation of the data estate. This isn't incremental improvement; it's a rebuild of how data flows through a global operation that touches travellers everywhere, every day.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join the newly created Architecture & Engineering Tower - one of five strategic pillars reshaping the technology function into a leaner, higher-performing organisation.
This is not BAU. You'll define the blueprint:
* Enterprise data architecture for a complex, multi-country business
* Data governance frameworks
* Modern data paradigms including Data Mesh and Data Fabric
* Architectures that can scale globally across retail, hospitality and consumer-facing environments
It's strategic. It's visible. And in many ways, it's greenfield. You'll be laying the foundations that underpin everything from operational efficiency to customer experience across a vast international network.
