Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Administration Assistant to work within the Office of the CIO, providing vital administrative and operational support to the wider Group IT function. You'll play a key role in keeping our IT operations running smoothly, managing procurement, budgets, and supplier relationships while ensuring excellent service standards across all interactions., * Process purchase order requests and reconcile invoices via Reqlogic
- Monitor, record, and track all costs impacting the IT budget
- Manage administrative support for the Group's Vodafone mobile phone contract
- Process and update tickets assigned to the Office of the CIO
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and offsite meeting arrangements for the IT team
- Attend service review meetings and act as minute-taker, capturing key actions and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records of procurement requests and related documentation
- Track and report IT spend against budget forecasts
- Process Microsoft and Adobe licence requests
- Manage procurement via company credit card, ensuring compliance with policy
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, raise orders, and manage deliveries
- Collaborate with the User Services team to order new hardware and peripherals
- Provide general administrative support to the Group IT team and cover Weekly Connect when required
Requirements
- You're organised and comfortable managing a range of tasks, keeping things on track in a busy environment.
- You have good attention to detail and take care in the work you deliver.
- You bring a positive, helpful approach to customer service and enjoy supporting colleagues and suppliers.
- You have experience in an administrative or process-focused role and feel confident handling day-to-day operational tasks.
- You stay steady under pressure, can balance different priorities, and adapt when plans change.
- You communicate clearly, work well with others, and build good working relationships with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
