Job description

  • Understand the critical success factors and key delivery outputs and milestones and help the J2C Finance workstream deliver quality outcomes within the agreed baseline plan
  • Understand the key strategic and operational themes from the portfolio programme director and expand the same to help develop the support and control needed for the finance workstream to deliver on its functional excellence without compromising excellence in other corporate services within CSM
  • Support the full eco-system of exit gate criteria, output matrix, risk management, resource planning and integrated portfolio plan to pro-actively identify risks and opportunities and signpost the appropriate RAID team. The role needs to make relevant RAID management team aware of RAIDs, when discovering the same. RAID management will be dealt by the relevant RAID team(s)
  • Contribute towards the management of exit criteria relevant to J2C Cloud finance workstream and help the portfolio programme director manage exit criteria effectively
  • Have a keen eye on the actual progress on the ground and validate delivery position to the portfolio programme director or his appointed representative. Maintenance and management of programme and portfolio plan will be done by the planning team
  • Guide, support and monitor the key design and configuration decisions in the J2C Finance workstream and ensure solution integrity and its fitness for the purpose
  • Major contributor to the portfolio delivery support and management function at the portfolio level for the finance function
  • Working for the portfolio programme director to ensure that J2C Cloud finance workstream implementation is to the right quality and is within its delivery schedule

Requirements

  • A degree level qualification (essential)
  • Strong finance function knowledge cutting across transactional and strategic finance business areas
  • Over ten years' experience in complex technology enabled transformation projects/programmes(essential)
  • Experience of managing complex stakeholder landscape (essential)
  • Experience of working effectively in a complex third-party supplier landscape (essential)
  • Minimum of two Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial Management end-to-end implementation programme experience in large organisations (essential)
  • Strong communicator and proficiency in business documentation (essential)
  • Proficient in using PowerPoint, Excel, Word (essential)
  • Ability to work independently (essential)
  • SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
