AWS Cloud Platform Lead

We are seeking an expert AWS Cloud Platform Lead to drive the design, implementation, and governance of our scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications. This leadership role requires deep technical authority in AWS, IaC (Terraform), and DevOps to manage projects and set technical direction for multiple delivery teams., * IaC Leadership: Owning the full lifecycle of Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.

• Architecture & Direction: Designing scalable and secure AWS solutions, providing definitive advice, and contributing to wider technical strategy.
• CI/CD Mastery: Building and maintaining high-quality CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and robust monitoring (CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana).
• Team & Standards: Providing direction to projects, negotiating consensus on contentious issues, and ensuring alignment to best practice across all product development.
• Resilience: Working with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure highly resilient, secure, and available products.

You must demonstrate deep expertise across all these areas:

1. AWS Cloud Architecture

• Deep proficiency in core services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation.
• Experience with serverless and containerization (ECS, EKS, Fargate).
• Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and cost optimization.

2. IaC & DevOps

• Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Proven experience building and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD Pipelines.

3. Programming & Development

• Strong skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and Docker for cloud solutions.

Desirable Knowledge

• Awareness of open-source AI/ML models in cloud solutions.
• Awareness of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions like UiPath or Blue Prism.
