Software Engineer (Mobile Device Specialist)

Device Provisioning & Configuration

• Enroll, configure, and deploy mobile devices (iOS, Android, tablets, specialist equipment)
• Manage mobile profiles, applications, and OS updates alongside the MDM Administrator
• Support Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Android Enterprise
• Maintain accurate mobile asset and lifecycle records

Security & Compliance

• Enforce mobile security policies, encryption, and remote management
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in collaboration with cybersecurity teams
• Ensure compliance with enterprise mobility and security standards

Support & Troubleshooting

• Deliver Tier 2-3 support for mobile hardware, connectivity, and application issues
• Coordinate vendor repairs, warranty claims, and replacements
• Act as a Purebred Agent for identity and access management

Lifecycle Management & Documentation

• Track inventory, lifecycle stages, and usage
• Support procurement, onboarding, and decommissioning
• Maintain documentation on device configurations, procedures, and policies

Do you have experience in iOS?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Associate degree in IT (Bachelor's preferred)

• 2-4 years' experience with enterprise MDM platforms
• Strong understanding of mobile security and mobility compliance
• Preferred: Intune, MobileIron, Apple iOS Technician, CompTIA Security+, * software engineer: 2 years (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: £40.13 per hour
