Job description

Your new role As a Power BI Specialist, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of a comprehensive reporting and dashboard solution. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, integrate data from multiple systems, and build interactive dashboards in Power BI. In addition, you'll assess the need for a data warehouse, establish data architecture, and ensure a smooth handover to the internal IT team. Your responsibilities will span requirements gathering, data integration, dashboard development, testing, documentation, training, and project management., You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's reporting capabilities, delivering solutions that directly impact strategic decision-making. In return, you'll gain exposure to enterprise-level data architecture, lead end-to-end Power BI projects, and collaborate with both technical and business teams. You'll also have the opportunity to upskill others through training, leaving a lasting impact on the company's data culture.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Power BI development and data visualisation best practices.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and integration strategies.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse, SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with APIs and connecting multiple systems for reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to document processes and deliver effective training.
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security standards.
