Job description

We're looking for a proactive IT Support & Systems Technician to join our growing organisation. You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day IT support, Microsoft 365 administration, device setup, and basic infrastructure tasks across multiple sites. If you enjoy solving problems, supporting end users, and working with a wide range of technologies, this is the role for you., * Deliver responsive 1st and 2nd line support for Windows and macOS users.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues across Windows, macOS, and bespoke internal systems.
  • Manage user accounts, MFA, and core Microsoft 365 admin tasks.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices, hardware, and software.
  • Assist with the deployment of firewalls, switches, and business-grade equipment.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of users.
  • Travel to other sites to assist with installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, * Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Windows environments.

  • Ability to learn and support bespoke internal applications.
  • Previous experience in an IT support role within an SME environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Azure administration.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Basic PowerShell knowledge.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience supporting Apple devices.
  • Knowledge of small-business firewalls (e.g., UniFi or similar).
  • Familiarity with CRMs.
  • Exposure to procurement and liaising with vendors.
  • Experience with automation or systems administration tasks.
  • Background in IT asset management.
