Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SAS Grade Dermatology Specialist to join our growing dermatology service in Manchester. The post-holder will provide high-quality outpatient dermatology care across multiple clinic sites, contributing to a responsive, patient-centred service., * Deliver comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of dermatological conditions in outpatient and community settings.
- Support dermatology triage and referral management to ensure effective patient flow.
- Work collaboratively with consultant dermatologists, specialist nurses, GPs, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and uphold high standards of patient care.
- Participate in teaching, supervision, and training of junior clinicians or wider primary care colleagues where appropriate.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Postgraduate clinical experience, including experience in dermatology.
- Evidence of specialist dermatology skills, training, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in the management of common dermatological conditions and confidence in performing routine dermatological procedures.
Desirable Attributes
- Postgraduate qualification in dermatology (e.g., Diploma in Dermatology).
- Experience in NHS community dermatology services or outpatient surgery.
- Competence in minor skin surgery or advanced dermatology procedures.
- Experience in service development and teaching
