Our client, a leading technology services provider, is hiring a 2nd Line IT Engineer to support a fast-paced multi-client environment. This role plays a key part in resolving escalated issues, delivering excellent service, and contributing to project activity. What you'll do
- Provide 2nd Line support across customer-facing and remote channels
- Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and maintain helpdesk workflows
- Configure PCs, servers, firewalls, and contribute to daily system checks including backups
- Maintain accurate client documentation, logs, and reporting
- Assist with project delivery and collaborate with infrastructure teams on escalated tasks
You'll work closely with service desk and network infrastructure teams to ensure SLA adherence, client satisfaction, and high-quality technical outcomes.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience within an MSP or ISP environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and Azure Sync
- Confident supporting Windows, Mac, RDS, and networking technologies including TCP/IP
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate under pressure and within SLAs
