Job description
- You will manage and support data project teams from a technical perspective: fostering collaboration, removing roadblocks, and driving delivery excellence.
- You will produce detailed reports providing guidance on enhancements, best practice, and risk mitigation.
- Working directly with clients, you will interact with senior stakeholders to understand the business objectives and strategy; uncover and challenge technical requirements, technology approaches, methodology, security and tech stack decisions in line with business goals.
- You will design modern data platforms: ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with client objectives.
- You will review and interpret architectural approach, infrastructure and data flows; assessing advising on best practice SDLC methodology and ways of working.
- Investigation will include the review of architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- You will maintain effective internal relationships with sales, technical, product and delivery colleagues.
- You will be confident in providing technical support during sales pitches and proposals and will help to identify and promote additional value add services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture design and data modeling
- Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms, specially based on Microsoft Azure services, including Microsoft Fabric & Databricks
- Extensive expertise in SQL & Python
- Extensive experience in service delivery as a consultant shaping data solutions.
- Experience leading technical teams both on-site and virtually.
- Experience with data modernisation and cloud data migration.
- Data related product / service offering development experience.
- You will have a strategic mindset with the ability to influence multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.
- You have the ability to maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, and share within the technical community.
