Guardium - Security Engineer

• Assess functional requirements and define the technical configuration of IBM Guardium for enterprise-scale protection of structured data assets (Oracle, SQL Server; Windows Server, Linux RHEL, AIX).
• Design and deploy Guardium policies; integrate with SIEM (Elastic Stack) and automate key operational workflows
• Run testing / approval phases; produce high-quality technical designs and documentation
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal IT teams on operations, risks, and security topics
• Establish standards, tools, methods, and procedures for quality and security; lead / participate in platform implementation and evolution
• Set KPIs and monitoring dashboards; identify and manage risks tied to new versions and propose continuous improvements

• 5 years' hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating IBM Guardium at enterprise scale
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux RHEL, and AIX administration for data-protection use cases
• Scripting / automation with PowerShell and Python; SIEM / log analysis with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Database expertise with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; fluent English for deliverables and workshops
• Behavioral strengths : critical thinking, analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, teamwork, excellent communication, change management, KPI-driven mindset, and proven project management experience

Desirable

• Experience designing automation around Guardium deployments and policy lifecycle
• Hands-on exposure to risk management frameworks and continuous-improvement practices
