AI & Data Engineer | Contract

Job Location - Remote Experience (Years) : 5+ years Pay Rate - TBN Start Date - ASAP Contract - 12 months (extension option) We're looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join our client and help shape intelligent, automated solutions across the business. You'll work at the intersection of AI innovation , data engineering , and cloud technologies , delivering practical, production-ready systems that make a measurable impact. You'll collaborate in a fast-paced Agile environment, working with a broad range of modern tools- such as Microsoft Azure , Python , Power Platform , Databricks MLFlow , Delta Lake , AI Foundry , Copilot Studio , n8n , and Agentic AI frameworks -to transform ideas into scalable AI capabilities. AI & Automation Development Translate business needs into technical designs and implement intelligent AI-driven solutions. Build, deploy, and optimize scalable AI models and agents that support automation and decision-making. Conduct testing and validation to ensure model reliability, incorporating feedback loops to refine accuracy. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and process experts to operationalize AI use cases. Data Engineering & Management Collect, clean, and manage complex datasets to ensure consistency and data integrity. Design and maintain ETL pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage in Azure Cloud environments. Contribute to the design of data models and structures supporting AI and analytics applications. Deployment & Integration Build and maintain reliable cloud-based infrastructures for large-scale AI deployments. Integrate AI models into business applications using APIs or microservices. Apply MLOps/DevOps principles to streamline deployment, versioning, and monitoring. Manage authentication and authorization using tools like Azure AD , Okta , and OAuth . Responsible AI & Governance Implement responsible AI principles to ensure fairness, transparency, and minimal bias. Oversee compliance

with internal and regulatory governance frameworks across all AI lifecycle stages. Continuous Improvement Evaluate and improve model performance and data quality. Explore and adopt emerging AI trends, frameworks, and tools to enhance existing capabilities. What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience as an AI Engineer , Machine Learning Engineer , or Data Scientist . Degree in Computer Science , Data Science , Information Systems , or a similar discipline. Proven expertise with LLMs , AI agents , Databricks , Azure Data Factory , Logic Apps , Python , and related data technologies. Familiarity with LangChain , Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) , MCP , Swagger UI , and modern data platforms. Strong understanding of data processing , model evaluation , and cloud deployment practices. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as web technologies such as Streamlit , React.js , and HTML . Knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI and version control systems like Git or GitLab . Hands-on experience developing microservices with Docker , Kubernetes , FastAPI , or Spring Boot . Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
