As a Senior Data Platform Engineer (wdm), you will play a key role in designing and scaling high-performance, data-intensive systems. You will work on platforms that handle significant traffic, power digital services, and support mission-critical processes.You will own the full lifecycle of the services you build - from architecture and development to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.

Aufgabengebiet
- Design and develop distributed, scalable data and backend systems
- Take responsibility for the full system lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
- Build and maintain data models, pipelines, and APIs to ensure robust and reliable data flows
- Optimize performance, observability, and system behavior across existing platforms
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data, and product teams
- Explore new technologies, bring in fresh ideas, and help raise technical standards across the organization
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent experience through impactful work
- Professional experience in software engineering, ideally with distributed or large-scale systems
- Strong proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., one statically typed and one dynamic or functional language)
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar
- Proven background in event-driven architectures, real-time data processing, or multi-region systems
- Deep understanding of modern data processing paradigms (e.g., orchestration, modeling, schema evolution, versioning, query optimization)
- Solid foundation in system design, observability, software lifecycle management, and reliability engineering
- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively across teams
