Your mission in a nutshell: As our new Senior/Medior Android Engineer, you'll be at the heart of building the Android experiences that help thousands of people improve their health every single day. You'll have the freedom to own features from concept to release, push the limits of what's possible on mobile, and see the direct impact of your work on users worldwide.
You won't just write code - you'll shape how we build, design, and deliver mobile products. You'll work hand-in-hand with Product, Design, and Backend teams to create smooth, engaging, and highly personalised health journeys. And because we trust you as an expert, your ideas will shape our Android architecture, guide best practices, and inspire the team.
Our tech stack is modern and exciting: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Room, Retrofit, plus clean modular architecture, CI/CD, and automated testing to keep our apps fast, stable, and ready to scale.
HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME:
- Designing, building, and shipping high-quality Android features that delight users.
- Lead the end-to-end development and shipping high-quality Android features for our Android app using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks that delight users.
- Drive architecture and technical design decisions for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor and support fellow Android engineers through code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and technical guidance.
- Ensure app stability and performance by monitoring crash-free user rates, ANRs, and metrics.
- Owning your projects end-to-end - from idea to release.
- Creating beautiful, responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring features to life.
- Ensuring top-tier app performance, reliability, and security.
- Integrating APIs, SDKs, and third-party services to enhance user experiences.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
Requirements
Do you have experience in SDKs?, With a team of over 90 people from over 28 different nationalities, Humanoo is building a one-of-a-kind holistic platform that makes people healthier. We are ambitious and goal-oriented and enjoy working by creating a positive atmosphere., * 4-5 years (for Senior) and 2-3 years (for Medior) of professional Android development experience.
- Mastery of Kotlin and modern Android development principles.
- Strong experience with Jetpack libraries (Compose, Navigation, Room, ViewModel).
- Solid understanding of architecture patterns like MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and modern testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile workflows.
- You care about creating smooth, user-first experiences and love solving problems with creativity and precision.
- Strong understanding of mobile performance, ANR/crash analysis, and app release cycles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Please note: our offices close over the Christmas and New Year period for approximately two weeks. We gift the 24th and 31st December as extra vacation days and any additional non-public holiday days during this time will be taken from your annual leave.
