Antenna Systems Engineer, Payload Antenna Team

Create and/or modify new software features to enable testing of standard phased array system metrics such as EIRP, EVM, and G/T * Act as a liaison with the Leo software team to drive new product requirements based on RF system test needs * Perform end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of digital phased array systems Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline * Coursework in digital communication theory, digital signal processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, Antennas and Electromagnetic theory * Experience in DSP techniques, digital modulation, radio architecture, line-up analysis, RF system design * Experience with lab test equipment like VSAs, VSGs, VNAs and Oscilloscopes * Coding and scripting skills with demonstrated experience in Matlab/Python/C++ * Experience with simulation tools such as SystemVue, ADS or LabView * Experience deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment Preferred Qualifications * MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of work experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience * Experience working with phased arrays and antenna measurement * 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
