Job description
Our client is looking for a Design Engineer to provide robust technical and project support and guidance as well as providing complete documentation functions across the Engineering department.
Duties include:
- CAD 2 & 3D software duties
- Assembly and SOP information
- Project Calculations and Excel Reports
- Root cause and data analysis
- Manage projects from design to completion
- Organising and maintaining technical and PPM documentation
- Responsible for toolbox talks & training material
- Build on training material to upskill the engineering workforce.
- Support engineers on site with "out of the ordinary" challenges.
- Take ownership of and assist the factory with any machine builds
Requirements
To be considered for the Design Engineer role candidates must have robust CAD skills and understanding of control and electrical systems and Advanced IT skills including Word and Excel.
Some familiarity with Hydraulics would be helpful but not essential
