Job description
- Design, deploy, and operate AWS EC2 workloads, Auto Scaling Groups, ALB/NLB, and manage secure VPC architectures.
- Implement and manage IAM roles, policies, and encryption using AWS KMS.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Intune/Entra ID, including device enrollment, compliance policies, and Conditional Access.
- Administer enterprise networking and security configurations, including next-gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, and related services to ensure data integrity and security.
- Manage VoIP solutions, including SIP trunks and call routing.
- Own backup strategies and coordinate vulnerability management and remediation across platforms.
- Act as L3 escalation for complex IT incidents, driving root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and contribute to CI/CD/IaC practices.

REED Technology are delighted to partner with a fantastic logistics organisation who due to continued growth and expansion are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to lead complex incident resolution, own core infrastructure, and deliver cloud-first projects across AWS and Microsoft 365. This role is pivotal in providing high-level networking and security solutions, designing and operating VPCs and IAM in AWS, implementing Microsoft Intune/Entra ID at scale, and hardening Windows Server/AD environments. The ideal candidate will blend deep troubleshooting skills with solid project delivery and a security-by-design approach., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in enterprise IT with L3 support, networking, and systems administration responsibilities.
- Proven expertise across AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, Auto Scaling), Windows Server/AD, Intune/Entra ID, and enterprise networking/security.
- Hands-on experience with VoIP deployments and QoS, and with SharePoint/OneDrive administration.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Desirable: Experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain systems; AWS/Microsoft Certifications; Networking / Security Certifications (ITIL, CompTIA Security+).
