Job description
The organisation is at the very start of its ERP systems journey and requires an experienced Consultant to lead the end-to-end system selection and finance transformation preparation. This Consultant will work closely with Finance, IT and various senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and to assist in the delivery of a successful implementation of a new SaaS Finance System.
Role Responsibilities: To own early-phase transformation work, leading the full systems selection process from initiation through to recommendation.
Drive RFI/RFP development, vendor engagement, scoring, and shortlisting.
Oversee and refine ongoing process mapping
Facilitate workshops with Finance, IT, and operational teams to define detailed business requirements.
Translate requirements into functional specifications for prospective vendors.
Work closely with key project sponsors across Finance, IT and Project Management teams.
Define the roadmap for an end to end cloud system implementation
Requirements
Do you have experience in Requirements gathering?, Extensive experience as a Finance Systems Transformation lead, with proven experience in delivering multiple ERP Systems Selection processes.
Part or fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc.)
Experience in process mapping and requirements gathering.
Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate finance needs into technology requirements.
Experience running RFP/RFI processes and vendor evaluations.
Broad ERP exposure across multiple ERP implementations (SunSystems, SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite etc.)
Background in the charity / not-for-profit sector, with understanding of industry-specific processes.
Cloud transformation experience from on-prem legacy systems.
