Job description

We are looking for an experienced and technically-minded Product Owner to lead the product backlog and delivery priorities for a next-generation blockchain core services solution. This role bridges business objectives with technical execution, working closely with architects, engineers, and commercial stakeholders to drive value in a complex, multi-cloud, multi-ledger environment.

While our offices are based in London (UK) and Zug (Switzerland), we welcome applications from qualified candidates across Europe.

The platform is being built as a modular, containerised, microservices-based system to host identity, signing, tokenisation, wallet, and smart contract services with a multi-tenant, multi-chain delivery model. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of product lifecycle management in modern PaaS environments and be able to work across cloud, blockchain, and enterprise integration domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership:
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog in collaboration with the Programme Manager and Technical Architect.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into well-defined technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and internal users across the product lifecycle.
  • Technical Stewardship:
  • Understand and communicate core capabilities, including blockchain abstraction layers, multi-tenant architecture, and containerised microservices.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, and engineering to ensure smooth CI/CD, observability, and operationalisation.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Liaise with security, compliance, and legal to align product delivery with audit, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-domain priorities (identity, tokens, payments, contracts) with application teams.
  • Platform Roadmap Execution:
  • Track delivery milestones across multi-phase releases and provide input into strategic planning.
  • Lead stakeholder reviews and product demos at the end of each sprint.
  • Marketplace & Partner Integration:
  • Define onboarding workflows and support structures for third-party developers and partners.
  • Ensure documentation, SDKs, sandboxes, and developer tooling are aligned with usage goals.

Technical Domains You'll Work With:

  • Cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, GitOps, Terraform, Vault/HSM)
  • Microservice-based PaaS (API Gateway, RBAC, SSO, CI/CD, observability stacks)
  • Multi-chain blockchain architecture (BSV, Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polkadot via adapters)
  • Identity and access systems (OIDC, OAuth2, DID/VC, SCIM, RBAC)
  • Token and wallet APIs (STAS, ERC standards, multi-sig custody, gas/miner fee engines)
  • Event-driven systems and message brokers (NATS JetStream, Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry)
  • Compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, 20000), fee engines, and multi-tenant billing systems

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * 5+ years in product ownership or technical product management, ideally in a SaaS or PaaS environment

  • Proven experience working on infrastructure-heavy or platform-level products (e.g. cloud-native stacks, developer platforms)
  • Strong understanding of APIs, containerised services, identity management, and blockchain concepts
  • Familiarity with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and backlog grooming
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in cross-functional and technical teams

Nice-to-Have:

  • Previous experience in a regulated environment (e.g. fintech, healthtech, govtech)
  • Experience managing developer portals, SDK rollouts, or marketplace onboarding
  • Background in digital identity, smart contracts, or decentralised systems
  • Certifications in Scrum, Product Ownership, or Agile delivery frameworks
