Cloud native SW Architect

About Us We are the responsible team within Deutsche Telekom technology to enable and drive Data Science & AI use cases. Our team is responsible for the GenAI platform and the implementation of high-priority AI projects. To maximize business value these AI use cases must be integrated into operational systems. Therefor we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work with our AI Teams and establish best software engineering practices and help design scalable robust architectures. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge GenAI technologies (e.g. multimodal AI agentic AI) in a high-impact scaled environment. Your Responsibilities * Collaborate with AI / ML teams to help develop scalable maintainable software solutions for AI-driven applications. * Lead the design and optimization of scalable resilient cloud architectures including multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies to support GenAI and AI-driven applications. * Provide strategic advisory on cloud best practices in

compliance with industry standards (e.g. GDPR ISO) * Establish best practices in software engineering including architecture modularization and API management. * Improve development workflows with TDD DDD GitOps CI / CD and automated testing. * Work with containerization & orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes Terraform Helm). * Enforce security by integrating with our Identity and Access Management. Your Skills & Experience * At least 8 years of experience in Architect role * Architectural patterns (e.g. SOLID GRASP) * Modularization & packaging * API development & integration * Project structure & clean code principles * TDD (Test-Driven Development) & DDD (Domain-Driven Development) * GitOps (branching merging linting CI / CD pipelines) * Demonstrated proven experience in architecting high-availability cloud infrastructures / enablers / multi-tenants. * Preference for holding certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Azure Architect or Google Cloud Architect * Docker & orchestration (Swarm Compose Kubernetes) * Configuration scripting (Terraform Helm) * Cloud experience in at least one Hyperscaler environment * Authentication & IAM (OAuth2 security best practices) * GitLab Python (experience in other languages is a plus) Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) * Telekom knowledge (Networks Platforms) * Deutsche Telekom ecosystem (Security Privacy Tardis Internal Network) What do we offer you * International positive dynamic and motivated work environment. * Hybrid work model (telework / face-to-face). * Flexible schedule. * Continuous training. * Flexible Compensation Plan. * Life and accident insurance. * More than 26 working days of vacation per year.
