Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Python Backend Engineer (Mathematical Focus) to join our team and support the development of our Python-based mathematical backend. We are looking for top-tier software engineers with strong mathematical intuition and excellent engineering discipline., * Backend Development: Refactor and optimize the current REST API wrapper of our Python mathematical library.

Feature Expansion: Develop new backend features to support and enhance the User Interface.
Database Integration: Integrate a non-SQL database into the existing REST API framework.
Security Implementation: Design and implement user-based security features and access controls.
Mathematical & AI Tools: Apply knowledge of NumPy and basic deep learning to support advanced computations and future model-driven capabilities.

Requirements

Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Strong experience with Python backend development.
Proficiency with NumPy and familiarity with deep learning fundamentals.
Solid knowledge of Linux, Bash, and Docker.
Experience with REST APIs and non-SQL databases.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, maintainable, well-structured code.
Flexible availability for part-time or full-time engagement.
