Software Developer

We're looking for a Software Engineer for an Accountancy Firm who can come in, take a look at how we do things, and design and build a new workflow system from the ground up. Someone who knows their stuff, understands how businesses operate, and can turn manual processes into smooth, automated solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build and implement a brand-new internal workflow system to automate daily accounting processes.
• Analyse our current setup, identify what's slowing us down, and create tools that make the business run more efficiently.
• Integrate systems and software we already use (like Xero, QuickBooks, or other accounting tools) into a central platform.
• Create automation for repetitive tasks, reporting, and data management.
• Work closely with accountants and management to ensure the new system fits real day-to-day needs.
• Use whatever tools or languages you're comfortable with - we care about results, not specific tech stacks.
• Help move the firm toward a fully automated, paperless, and data-driven way of working.

• Hands-on experience building or automating systems in a real business environment.
