Job description

Are you a back-end leaning full stack engineer ready to shape the next generation of retail technology?You'll join an innovative retail tech company is powering the digital experiences of luxury and high-end fashion retailers worldwide. Their clienteling platform helps in-store teams connect meaningfully with their customers via personalised, data-driven interactions. You'll work within a small, high-performing dev team and focus primarily on building out the backend with Node.js and TypeScript. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the future front-end rebuild, re-platforming their architecture, building microservices in Node.js and TypeScript, and a host of new feature development work.Tech Stack:

  • Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
  • MongoDB (NoSQL), REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Azure Cloud, containerised deployments
  • HTML, CSS

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in backend or full stack development
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and microservices architecture
  • Stong understanding of concurrency and experience building systems with a high volume of traffic
  • Solid understanding of scalable REST APIs and NoSQL databases
  • Interest or experience in front-end development

About the company

The role is remote, with the option to work in the Shoreditch office (1 day a week if you're local).
