Job description
Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems * Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system * Develop software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met * Provides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activities * Leads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics * Plans, executes and documents software research and development projects * Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations * Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).
Requirements
7+ years of experience designing and developing software using Python, C#, C, C++, and/or Java * 3+ years of experience with Agile software development * 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree * 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Experience with Cloud Computing technologies (AWS, Cloud Foundry/Tanzu) * Experience with Web development technologies (ASP.NET MVC, Node.js, React.js, ) * Experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) practices * Experience with Docker container technology and Kubernetes Container Service (KCS) * Experience using DevOps tool chain and team collaboration tools including GitLab, TFS, JIRA, Jenkins and Artifactory etc., This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Summary Pay Range for Huntington Beach, California: $136,850.00 - $185,150.00
Summary Pay Range for Berkeley, Missouri and North Charleston, South Carolina: $127,500.00 - $172,500.00
