Job description
Ogury is looking for a motivated and operational Data Engineer to join our growing Data Reporting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for organizing and maintaining the data stack to ensure data availability and reporting systems are efficient and aligned with business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data platform, persona, and SSP teams, to optimize the data architecture and enhance the reporting systems that serve both internal and external clients, like Ogury One. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a bit of experience in the field, enjoys creating and optimizing data pipelines, and is passionate about making data accessible and actionable for business users., + Re-organize and clean up the current data stack, ensuring it aligns with product needs and business reporting requirements.
- Create and manage reporting systems and data pipelines, ensuring data is available to clients and business users in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with product teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and deliver actionable, data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Focus on data modelling, ETL processes, and ensuring high-quality data for reporting.
- Provide operational support and help business teams by troubleshooting and improving data workflows.

Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, + 3-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of SQL, DBT, and data cataloging.
- Experience in building and managing ETL pipelines, working with SQL and Python.
- Understanding of data modeling and reporting processes, with a focus on supporting business needs.
- A practical, operational mindset-comfortable with managing interactions and supporting business teams.
- Good communication skills, especially in working with business owners and product teams.
- A strong desire to be hands-on and operational, ensuring that data is accessible, useful, and aligned with business requirements.
