AWS Solution Architect

The consultant will support the client in designing, implementing, and operationalizing secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud solutions. The role spans architecture, infrastructure, operations, and cloud strategy., * Design and validate end-to-end AWS architectures aligned with enterprise requirements.

• Define cloud standards, patterns, guardrails, and best practices.
• Provide hands-on solution design and architecture reviews.
• Guide teams on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation, GitOps, automation, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Operations, DevOps, Networking, and Security teams.
• Strengthen operational maturity, including high availability, resilience, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cost control.
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning, runbooks, and dashboards.

• 8-10+ years in architecture, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
• 3-5+ years in AWS solution architecture at an enterprise scale.
• Strong expertise in cloud networking, security, and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, automation, and containers.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and SSM.
• Solid understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Language proficiency in English and Dutch or French at a business level.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
