What you'll build
Join our dynamic and passionate Business Technology Sales Team in Germany as a Solution Sales Executive (f/m/d). In this role, you will drive cloud sales for selected growth customers in Germany.
We are cloud specialists, supporting our customers in deep, strategic transformations. You will take responsibility for a modern and innovative portfolio based on the highly demanded SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is an open, modular platform that combines data management, integration, application development, automation, and AI to enable businesses to quickly create and operate innovative, intelligent, and scalable business applications - true to our motto #GiveDataPurpose. * Sales performance: Achieve agreed sales targets within the Business Technology Platform portfolio.
- Sales cycle management: Drive sales cycles from demand generation through to business closure, including participation in contract negotiations.
- Opportunity and stakeholder management: Manage opportunities in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, and identify decision-makers across various customer departments.
- Customer engagement and value focus: Present the SAP BTP portfolio effectively, demonstrate understanding of customer value drivers, and provide sensitive guidance on their journey to the cloud.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Customer Advisory, Industry Account Executives, and other stakeholders to ensure success., For SAP employees: Only permanent roles are eligible for the SAP Employee Referral Program, according to the eligibility rules set in the SAP Referral Policy. Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, Professional experience: Several years of work experience in account management; cloud experience is an advantage.
- Sales acumen: Bring initial sales experience with strong argumentation skills, confident presence, and proven ability to close deals.
- Communication and presentation skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation abilities as part of your core toolkit.
- Educational background: Completed university degree in natural sciences, economics, or a related field; equivalent qualifications are also valued, and career changers are welcome.
- Language proficiency: Fluency in German at C1 level and good command of English are required.
