Junior Web Gaming Developer

Join TinyPixels in Hoorn, Netherlands, as a Backend PHP Developer, maintaining and developing our robust iGaming platform serving over 50,000 monthly active users. Our dynamic and fast-paced development environment will challenge you to leverage your creative and technical skills to deliver commercially viable solutions within a heavily regulated industry., In this role, you will work closely with senior developers, marketing, and design teams to deliver high-quality, interactive web applications that drive excitement and keep our players coming back. You'll contribute to both new feature development and ongoing improvements of our promotional systems., * Develop and deploy monthly promotional events from concept to launch

• Build interactive and high-performance web applications using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Optimise backend code to support high-traffic volumes (20,000+ daily users)
• Collaborate with marketing and design to translate campaign concepts into engaging digital experiences
• Maintain and enhance existing promotional features and event systems
• Implement tracking and analytics to measure event performance
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices
• Debug and resolve issues quickly, especially during active promotional periods
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Do you have experience in Responsive web design?, * You have proficiency in PHP 8.1+

• You have a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• You have experience working with MySQL or other relational databases
• You understand responsive web design principles and mobile-first development
• You are familiar with RESTful APIs
• You are comfortable working with Git
• You are a creative problem-solver who can turn marketing concepts into technical solutions
• You are eager to learn and grow - if you don't know something, you find a way to learn it (with our support!)

It's a plus if you have:

• Experience in iGaming or other high-engagement entertainment platforms
• Knowledge of gamification mechanics and user-engagement strategies
