As a Software Developer, you will work in a strategic research team exploring new capabilities for software-intensive high-tech systems and applications. You will collaborate with high-tech partners and work at their premises often. You will work on the topic of model-based system engineering, within the embedded systems innovation group., * You will develop model-based system engineering methodologies to design, analyze, predict, optimize, and diagnose high-tech systems. An example is a model-based performance engineering methodology to design and optimize the dimensioning of a next-generation system and ensure that the system supports the customer workflow and set use cases. Another example is a model-based way to remove technical debt in a system, for example by rejuvenating legacy code bases.
You will embed these cutting-edge methodologies in the organizations of our industry partners.
Requirements
You have an academic degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
You have an affinity and interest in systems engineering of complex high-tech systems, model-driven design, and complex software development.
You have experience or interest in domain-specific languages.
You have experience or interest in different languages amongst others C++, C#, JAVA.
Preferably, you have experience with the Eclipse Modeling Framework, including technologies like Ecore, Xtext, and Sirius.
You are a team player.
You can lead and facilitate conversations of diverse groups towards a common research goal.
You look at things from a systems perspective (business, customer, technology).
