Messaging Engineer

Contribute to assigned projects to support delivery of new messaging services to the business.

• Evaluate new messaging systems and technologies to save time, increase service levels and reduce costs.
• Keep up to date on developments in messaging (technologies, products, practices and trends).
• Provide support to users on software platforms supported by the Messaging team.
• Resolve incidents relating to messaging services in accordance with the Messaging Service Level Agreement and escalating where appropriate.
• Act as a technical escalation from service desk and deskside support teams.

Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange 2019 / SE

• Strong experience of Exchange Online and Intune
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Knowledge of email archiving products, such as Enterprise Vault (desirable)
• Exposure to mobility solutions, such as MobileIron
• Familiarity with cloud-based email filtering services such as Microsoft Exchange Online Protection
