Job description

  • Design, build and management of cloud infrastructure (Azure / IaC / Terraform).
  • Support Azure infrastructure (VMs, Networking, Storage, Intune, hybrid endpoints).
  • Be part of a team working on cloud migration projects with a focus on automation and scalability.
  • Use IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Apply Azure governance, monitoring, and security best practices.
  • Provide on-prem support (Windows Server, Hyper-V, Backups) as legacy workloads migrate.

Requirements

Essential:

  • IaC experience is essential given the planned migration to Azure (Terraform or Bicep experience ideally).
  • Azure Certifications: Essential AZ-104 and AZ-900, Desirable AZ-700 and AZ-305.
  • Demonstrable experience with Azure cloud server management, networking, app gateways and landing zones.
  • Demonstrable Azure Management (VM's, NSG rules, Storage accounts etc) to be able to effectively contribute to the gradual migration of our environments to the cloud.
  • The ability to create and maintain technical documentation with a good attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Given the transformation, an earlier on-prem background with exposure to physical Servers 2012-2019 (Windows), Virtualisation (Hyper-V) and backup maintenance (Veeam) would be desirable, but not essential.

Largely remote work with 1 day per month onsite (Essex / London boarders)

Salary c.£50,000 - £55,000 + OT + Bonus + Exellent benefits
