Job description
- Monitor operational systems for resource usage and failure rates to guide system tuning.
- Configure system software parameters to optimize throughput and efficiency.
- Install and test new versions of system software.
- Support the preparation of software implementation procedures, including fallback contingency plans.
- Support the operational configuration of network components.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving network issues.
- Carry out specified maintenance procedures.
- Install or remove system components following provided instructions and tools.
- Perform standard tests and assists in investigating problems and faults.
- Verify proper functioning of installations.
- Document results according to agreed procedures.
- Execute deployment activities using approved tools and techniques.
- Record activities, logs results, and documents technical work performed.
- Assist in designing, verifying, documenting, modifying, and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WAN?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related discipline with minimum of 2 years practical experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP protocols, and related standards.
- Strong understanding of network troubleshooting techniques using diverse test equipment and software tools.
- Advanced knowledge of server and client technologies, including Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing end-user support.
- Knowledge in configuration of LAN network devices, including VOIP and VOSIP.
- Experience in the support of back-end server infrastructure.
- Knowledge of system administration of Active Directory (AD), DHCP, VMware, and SCCM.
- Relevant certification in IT Service Management, such as ITIL 4 Foundation (or other), CISCO Accredited Training such as CCST and CISCO Accredited Training such as CCNA (desirable).
- An active security clearance at NATO Secret level is mandatory at the time of application.
- Good command of spoken and written English (B2) is required.
