Senior Cloud Security Operations Engineer

Hey there, Cybersecurity Enthusiasts! Factorial is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Operations Engineer to join our team and strengthen the security of our systems and infrastructure. As a key member of the Security Operations Team, you will be responsible for protecting our environments and ensuring the security of our data. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a strong and up-to-date security posture. The Mission

• Develop and manage security tooling to ensure accurate threat detection and swift response in different environments: Cloud, CI/CD and on-premise.
• Implement hardening strategies in our infrastructure, to increase our resilience against cyberattacks.
• Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents, providing timely and effective responses.
• Conduct thorough incident response, ensuring quick and efficient mitigation of security threats. Perform detailed security investigations to identify root causes and impacts.
• Develop and maintain detection and blocking rules.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices across the organization.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update incident response plans and procedures.
• Provide security awareness training to staff to ensure company-wide vigilance and compliance.

• 5+ years of experience of Security Engineering in Cloud environments (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Containerization (Kubernetes).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of Cyberattacks and Threat Actor Tactics Techniques and Procedures.
• Experience using and managing EDR, CNAPP and SIEM solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Datadog is a plus.
• Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is €55,000 + 10% variable + 10% ESOP. How We Work
