Job description

The Operations Insights & Improvements team is at the heart of analytics at easyJet, delivering data products and solutions to help business users achieve their goals. Our stakeholders span the full breadth of the Operation domain, including Engineering, Ground Ops, Crew Planning, the Ops Strategy team and more. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy and supporting operational planning and delivery., As an Ops Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and reporting on business performance data to inform management decisions and drive operational excellence. You will:

Ø Lead data analytics projects, providing recommendations that fulfil business requirements and enhance processes

Ø Operate as a technical lead, managing stakeholders and supporting colleagues on projects

Ø Apply statistical methods to analyse data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights

Ø Design and deliver technical training for analytical tools and ways of working

Ø Develop reports, visualisations, and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders

Ø Champion data fluency and self-serve analytics across the business

Ø Ensure data tools and reports are well-documented and accessible

Ø Stay up to date with best practices in data analytics

Ø Work independently on multiple projects, delivering accurate and relevant findings

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, Ø Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience using data to drive business decisions

Ø Proven experience leading successful data analytics projects in a commercial setting

Ø 2-3 years of commercial experience in data and analytics

Ø Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, R)

Ø Experience with BI/data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Thoughtspot, or PowerBI

Ø Working knowledge of statistical techniques including time series analysis, multivariate analysis, and forecasting

Ø Experience working in cross-functional teams and projects

Ø Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tell stories with data

Ø Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and deliver data-driven transformation

Ø Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)

Ø Self-organised, able to plan and prioritise work, and operate with minimal supervision

Ø Team player with coaching and mentoring skills

Ø Degree in a scientific or engineering field (Statistics, Maths, Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences) or equivalent commercial experience
