Job description
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP GTS and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM) and third-party middleware platforms. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide strategic guidance on trade compliance processes Design, implement, and support SAP GTS module aligned with business needs.
Requirements
Relevant professional IT experience in the related functional area Consistent record of broad industry experience and solid understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships. Experience in Agile project delivery and general management in an international environment Excellent knowledge of business processes, experience in regulated system environment and ability to "speak the business language" when talking about IT subjects
Required Expertise:
- IPR (Inward Processing Relief):
- Experience with configuring and managing IPR in SAP GTS.
IBPP (Import-Based Preferential Processing):
- Expertise in setting up and maintaining preferential trade agreements in GTS.
- Configuration of IBPP determination logic and support for Free Trade Agreement (FTA) utilization.
Bonded Warehouse:
- Implementation of bonded warehouse management in SAP GTS.
- Experience in setting up customs procedures related to bonded storage and reporting.
Integration with Custom Declaration Authorities (via Middleware):
- Proven track record of integrating SAP GTS with local customs authorities (e.g., EU, US, Asia) using middleware such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or third-party solutions.
- Configuration of electronic customs declaration processes, including import/export filings, and real-time status monitoring.
- Handling message mapping, data transformation, and error handling processes.
Basic Customs:
- Solid understanding of basic customs processes such as classification (HTS codes), valuation, origin determination, and import/export documentation.
- Configuration of customs master data and compliance rules in SAP GTS.
- Awareness of local and global customs regulatory requirements.
Compliance Management:
- Experience in setting up and managing SPL (Sanctioned Party List) screening, embargo checks, legal control, and license determination in GTS.
- Knowledge of end-use/end-user screening, document requirements, and trade restrictions.
