Business Transformation - Innovation & Impact drives Pfizer's end-to-end technology transformation roadmap, prioritizing, delivering, and scaling high-impact use cases across the International Commercial Division. The team combines innovation, responsible data leadership, and agile change management to embed AI fluency and adoption across all levels. Through cross-functional collaboration, it enables measurable business impact and builds future-ready capabilities., In this role, you will ensure foundational and future technology and analytics specific data activation strategies globally and locally and coordinate compliance with AI Transformation ("AIT") governance standards. You will oversee data readiness (foundational, agentic, and semantic), implement Governance practices, and drive alignment with legal, risk, and compliance requirements to support business objectives. You will work closely with the Data Strategy Team (CMO) and Digital to drive data decisions that benefit above-market and local teams, and think about the future of data both internally and externally to determine the best data capability in the future., * Oversee data activation strategies and synergies for existing and future use cases.
- Determine how structured and unstructured data needs to come together to drive the business with close collaboration with CMO partners (International Reporting Lead, International Data Strategy Lead, IIS global and local).
- Evolve data strategy by identifying which new domains/data products should be created and which current data domains should be prioritized for integration.
- Ensure automation and scalability of data across domains; track KPIs of foundational data capabilities.
- Facilitate in-country data deep dives with a cross-functional Data Strategy & Digital to ensure local data sources/processes are being aligned to the International Data Ecosystem
- Business Case Development: Work on business cases for data strategy for the AIT Committee in partnership with the Director, Strategy & Transformation Lead and Data Strategy Team.
- Coordinate with Legal, Risk, and Compliance for Governance of use cases across International. Lead the Legal and Compliance Committee for AI use cases along with the Digital counterpart to facilitate smooth reviews.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in driving data activation strategies and ensuring readiness of structured and unstructured data to enable AI and analytics solutions.
- Deep understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks across international markets.
- Demonstrated ability to operationalize Governance principles, embedding ethics, transparency, and risk management into data-driven processes.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills to align with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Digital stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Strategy, Data Science, Law, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Experience: significant experience in data strategy and/or governance, risk management, or AI ethics roles
