Job description
For our customer in Germany, we are looking for an experienced SAP EDI Consultant.
Tasks:
- Onboard new business partners via EDI in SAP S/4 Sales and SAP CRM
- Configure and maintain EDI interfaces for Order-to-Cash (orders, invoices), including IDoc configuration, partner profiles and message types
- Develop functional design documents, EDI mappings and effort estimations
- Guide internal and external developers throughout EDI implementation
- Perform small ABAP enhancements for EDI mappings in SAP CRM
- Monitor, analyse and troubleshoot EDI transactions; provide Level-3 support
- Collaborate closely with key users and business support teams
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in EDI implementation in SAP S/4HANA and SAP CRM
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 Sales and SAP SD with strong EDI expertise
- Solid know-how of IDoc configuration, partner profiles, message types
- Experience with Seeburger, SAP AIF, SAP CPI or similar integration platforms
- Ability to debug ABAP and work with user exits, BADIs, routines and enhancements
- Experience integrating SAP with external systems using EDI standards (eg, EDIFACT)
- Fluent in English; German language skills preferred
Project details:
- Start: January 2026
- Duration: 12 months (160 MD)
- Workload: 2- 4 days in week
- Location: Remote, with onboarding in Bielefeld
- Language: English (German preferred)
