Principal Python Engineer (Apache Ecosystem) We are seeking a Principal Python Engineer with deep expertise in Apache project contribution, data processing, automation, and big data ecosystem integration. The technology stack includes popular open source Apache projects with Python integration - Spark, Kafka, and related ecosystem tools. The role goes beyond development: the ideal candidate will set technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and represent BairesDev in the Apache community. What we are looking for: * 10+ years of experience in software development with strong Python expertise. * Proven track record as a leading contributor to Apache open source projects, with recognized impact in the community. * Exceptional expertise in open source development methodologies, governance, and community leadership. * Extensive knowledge of distributed systems architecture, scalability, and advanced performance optimization. * Demonstrated ability to set technical strategy, influence cross-team decisions, and deliver high-impact results. * Experience mentoring and leading senior technical talent. * Advanced level of English.
