Job description

A respected civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its Bath team. The role involves the design and delivery of civil infrastructure for a range of projects, including masterplanning, utilities, highways, earthworks and drainage. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, taking responsibility for your own design packages and supporting high quality project delivery., Produce infrastructure designs for masterplanning, utilities, highways, earthworks and drainage. Prepare technical drawings, design calculations, specifications and reports. Manage design tasks from concept through to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering inputs. Support project planning, resourcing and delivery tracking. Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Assist with bid preparation and support business development activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in civil infrastructure design, including utilities, highways, earthworks, SuDS drainage and knowledge of masterplanning.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or similar design software.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and relevant technical standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Working toward professional registration is an advantage.
