Database Developer - TSQL/SQL/Azure - Hybrid - Inside IR35

SQL Database Developer with a background in Lloyds markets is required by this Insurance organisation on the London Markets. Joining an existing in-house database development you'll focus on project and support work on a huge technology transformation programme across the business. Initially the focus will be on a financial systems project with continuous improvement and BAU work relating to regulatory changes in the long-term.

• It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of working with insurance financial processes and calculations, translating requirements from finance into solutions.*

Working at T-SQL coding level you'll be required to liaise closely with peers on Front End development and BI, business stakeholders and analysts/PMs. Longer-term initiatives you'll get to work on include on-going migration to the cloud (Azure).

Experience required includes -

• Insurance specific systems development
• T-SQL development
• Performance analysis and tuning
• SQL Server environment, linked Servers, SQL agent job management, replication and VMWare awareness
• Azure DevOps tools (boards and pipelines) experience is very beneficial
• TFS/GitHub
• System testing
