Design Engineer

My client is a specialist quarry machinery manufacturing company who are based in the Omagh area. They have a very low turnover of staff and are seeking to recruit another Design Engineer for their team of engineers. On offer is a salary of up to £45,000, pension, healthcare, market leading holidays, a lunchtime finish every Friday plus hybrid working.

Role - Design Engineer

• Carry out design and re-design projects in new products and processes
• Machine design projects from initial concept to completion.
• Independently develop mechanical / machine design concepts based on overall project objectives.
• Develop and approve all layouts and detailed drawings.

• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• At least three years design experience within the quarry machinery or similar sector, Design Engineering 3D CAD Mechanical design Creo SolidWorks Solid Edge Hydraulic Design
