Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI) is DHL's cross-divisional commercial and innovation unit. We are responsible for managing about 100 of DHL's largest and most strategically important customers providing them with sector expertise, best in class account management and most innovative products & solutions.
Tasks:
The Product Owner for the "Become a Business Customer Online" journey is responsible for driving the strategic development and continuous improvement of this critical customer experience across DHL's digital ecosystem. The role ensures that prospective business customers can seamlessly engage, register, and onboard through DHL.com and related digital touchpoints, delivering an intuitive and conversion-focused journey.
This position champions user experience excellence, conversion optimization, and data-driven decision-making to maximize business impact. The PO will align closely with senior stakeholders and business units to ensure the journey supports overarching commercial objectives and digital transformation goals. By leveraging market research, analytics, and innovative solutions, the PO shapes future roadmaps that anticipate customer needs and strengthen DHL's position as a leader in digital engagement.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Product Ownership: Assume end-to-end responsibility for one or more high-impact customer journeys, including feature definition, prioritization, and backlog management.
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a clear vision for customer journeys, aligning user needs and business priorities in a complex environment. Maintain a strategic roadmap for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Performance Management: Establish KPIs and implement measurement frameworks to track impact and drive data-driven enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices and outside-in perspectives to maintain competitive edge and deliver superior user experiences.
- Project and Stakeholder Management: Align and execute feature go-lives and international rollout schedules, ensuring transparency of developments and managing dependencies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage senior stakeholders and business units to ensure alignment and integration with other digital initiatives.
- Technology & Platform: Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to shape technology decisions impacting customer journey performance and scalability.
- Market & User Insights: Define customer and competitor research needs to anticipate trends and inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Marketing?, * Advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in product ownership and digital marketing, with strong focus on user experience and content strategy.
- Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills; able to synthesize stakeholder input to shape innovative product roadmaps.
- Very comfortable in Product Owner role, following and communicating a clear plan with purpose, prioritizing output and aligning with stakeholder perspectives.
- Expert in digital marketing platforms, channels, touchpoints, and user-centric optimization principles.
- Proven ability to define and influence technology roadmaps, collaborating effectively with technical teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, with experience engaging senior leaders.
- Strong customer orientation, including extensive research and navigating complex digital ecosystems.
- Track record of leading complex projects or product initiatives with measurable results.
- Collaborative communicator, inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of DHL Group or similar multinational organizational structures.
