Job description

Are you an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure professional who thrives in a client-facing environment? I am looking for a confident communicator who can not only design and implement cutting-edge cloud solutions but also present ideas and strategies to stakeholders with clarity and impact., As a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you'll take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud and infrastructure services. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. This role requires someone who can confidently present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring trust and engagement at every stage., * Lead the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure and related technologies.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting solutions and guiding them through technical decisions.
  • Optimise performance, cost, and security across cloud environments.
  • Automate processes using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, etc.).
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Maintain compliance with security best practices and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Proven ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon.
  • Hands-on experience with networking, firewalls, and security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for infrastructure management.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, ITIL, or VMware are desirable.
