Head of IT

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of IT to drive innovation, resilience, and efficiency across our technology landscape.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will manage a talented in-house IT team and strategic partners to deliver a first-class, proactive IT service. You will ensure their systems are fit for purpose, secure, and aligned with their strategic goals, while championing process improvement and digital transformation., Reporting to the Executive board, you will:

• Lead and inspire the IT team to deliver exceptional service across the business.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, and communications to ensure resilience and scalability.
• Drive cybersecurity and compliance, including GDPR and Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of IT assets.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvements.
• Explore AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and unlock commercial advantages.
• Maintain strong engagement with the parent company, ensuring our needs are represented.

With proven experience leading IT in a multi-site organisation, you will possess:

• A strong track record in digital transformation and process improvement.
• Expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement and vendor negotiation.
• Be commercially astute, customer-focused, and resilient under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire a high-performing team.
• A deep understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance.
