Job description
Reporting to Andrew Leivesley our Finance Controller - Strategic Planning, we're looking for a Reporting Analyst to create first-class commercial reporting and value-adding analytical insight to ensure the execution of HEINEKEN UK (HUK)'s commercial plans. This role will primarily be focused on executing relevant and robust reporting for your aligned business function within HUK.
You'll lead the month-end reporting cycle across multiple business functions and contribute to the intra-year forecasting. Some of your main responsibilities will be to continuously improve the current reporting landscape and challenge the status quo to eliminate waste and find efficiencies. Your curious nature will have you seeking opportunities to innovate reporting and create accurate and useful information for decision-making within the Management Teams.
You'll look for opportunities to move Excel-based reporting to other platforms using business intelligence tooling such as Power BI, Alteryx and help to drive and play a part in the transformation change programs within HUK that will focus on data, reporting, tooling and systems.
This role will be split between maintaining & automating our existing reports and having the freedom and ability to create brand-new ones in line with stakeholder requirements. This role has plenty of room for development and gives you fantastic exposure and insight into multiple business functions.
A big part of this role requires taking tens of thousands of data lines and turning them into reports that can tell a story to our functions, so stakeholder management and communication skills are very important.
Requirements
You'll be able to demonstrate at least 1-2 years commercial experience in FMCG finance or a similar industry with advanced excel skills coupled with technically proficient knowledge/experience of business intelligence tools such as Power BI & SAP Analytics Cloud and data cleansing tools such as Alteryx also experience of ERP & data warehousing - SAP and SAP BW would be preferred but not essential.
With a reasonable level of practical and commercial experience, you'll be able to solve escalated problems involving the analysis of fact-based information and can exercise your judgement based on this.

Benefits & conditions
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below. Contract: 14 month Fixed Term Contract
