Job description

  • Your main task will be undertaking hardware setups and installs at client sites in and around the Birmingham area.
  • Also managing projects onsite and off site and supporting clients with the onboarding of said projects.
  • You'll need to have the right balance of technical ability, and a big smiley face. Lots of that "can do" attitude that people love

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Ticket management systems?, First and foremost, you'll need to be passionate and have extremely strong communication skills but you'll also need the following technical skills:

  • At least 4 years' experience in an IT support environment with experience gained within a managed service provider/IT service environment is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent networking knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of cyber security risks and mitigation techniques
  • Strong Computer/hardware configuration and installation experience
  • Strong Windows background.......Linux background is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint, Teams) administration, troubleshooting, setup
  • Knowledge of the 3cx phone system would be an advantage.
  • You must self-motivated with a can-do attitude and be able to manage your own time, tickets and projects.

You'll also need to have:

  • This role is based remotely so you must be happy to work from home (Ideally, you would have done this for a period of time already) and have a dedicated space at home to work from.
  • Experience with job/ticket management system
  • A full UK driver's licence - you'll be out and about quite often
  • You will need to have your own reliable vehicle to get from site to site., * Managed service provider: 3 years (preferred)
  • IT Support: 4 years (required)
  • IT support field engineer: 2 years (preferred)
  • Office 365 admin/troubleshooting: 2 years (required)
