Job description
As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will join the Design Office and contribute to the development of components and assemblies for our Formula 1® race car. You will work on real projects from day one, progressing from guided tasks to independent ownership as your skills develop.
You will:
- Generate accurate 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
- Support the full design lifecycle from concept through release and build
- Work within defined performance, packaging, mass, and manufacturing constraints
- Collaborate with manufacturing, composites, build and test functions
- Participate in design reviews and apply sound engineering judgement
- Manage technical data, BOMs, and design documentation

Requirements

Requirements
Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, * Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Composite Engineering, or related discipline
- Practical experience with CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks)
- Understanding of mechanical principles, GD&T and tolerance systems
- Awareness of manufacturing methods (machining, composites, additive manufacturing)
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and solve problems logically
- Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering outcomes
Desirable:
- Student or placement experience on real engineering projects
- Experience with prototype design, FEA basics, or university racing programmes
